We’ve been told that Treasure Hunt was basically a short lived project and that they may record something eventually to document the band’s existence. Things are on hold as everyone in the band is going to be too busy with their respective projects over the next several months. We will of course post here when we have any more news.

I have a few videos to post and share. The first one is the brand new Sunset Rubdown video for ‘Black Swan’. This is their first ever “music video”.

It was recently brought to my attention that a new band has been formed in Montreal. That band, Treasure Hunt, is made up of Arlen Thompson from Wolf Parade, Dustin Hawethorn (ex-Hot Hot Heat), Mike Bigelow (Wintersleep/ex-Holy Fuck) and Loel Campbell (Wintersleep/ex-Holy Fuck). It’s two basses and two drummers. They don’t have anything recorded yet, but they do have some shows lined up for September with Young Galaxy.
